Barb Fromm, Office Administrator

What do you do for Harvest?
My title is Office Administrator. I see this position as a unique opportunity to present a good first impression to those who come to Harvest for worship, fellowship or for scheduled events. I consider this job as the “pulse of the church”, being here to support the staff members and help facilitate all the happenings within the church.

What is your history with Harvest or why did you come?
I first visited Harvest about 4 years ago. Shortly thereafter I started volunteering in the office, in Children’s Ministry and with the Worship Team. I applied for the position of Office Administrator when it became available and thus became an employee of Harvest. I then volunteered as Stage Manager for the Harvest Arts Ministry. I experience many blessings as both an employee and a volunteer here at Harvest.

If you had unlimited resources to pursue one goal, what would be the one thing you would do that you think would have the maximum impact for God's kingdom?
After living in the darkness for so many years, I now look to Christ for practical ways to reflect God’s light, love, and mercy in a dark and dying world. With unlimited resources, I would buy or build a large ranch for people to get away, to recharge, and spend time in God’s word.

Personal hobbies:

  • Gardening – I love working in the yard with plants and flowers (it’s therapeutic).
  • Spending time with my son, my daughter and my son-in-law when they come to visit.
  • Outdoor activities - Camping, fishing, hiking, scenic drives and just getting outdoors to enjoy this beautiful world and taking pictures of the journey.
  • Preparing and sharing meals with friends and family.
